Mornings can be difficult. All the rush and getting ready half asleep can get to you. The social media posts about mornings being the fresh start of the day… are posts you laugh at – after a couple of coffees that is. However, mornings don’t need to be terrible or rushed. Getting ready in the morning on time is absolutely doable. All it takes are a few small changes and here they are.

Make a to-do list!
A to-Do list is a golden rule for discipline. They help you decide what your aims are and help you navigate your way through them. What does a productive morning look like to you? Visualize it and make a list of things it should include. Some ideas to get you thinking are – freshly pressed clothes to work, a pot of hot coffee or orange juice, toasted bread with bacon & cheese, and brightly polished shoes. Whatever suits your fancy, note them down, and pin the list on your refrigerator!

Plan your shopping accordingly!
If you want orange juice every morning, what kind would you prefer? Store-bought juice packs or ones made from freshly squeezed oranges? Once you decide, you can prepare your routine accordingly. The next time you go to pick up groceries, you can ensure this is taken care of. The secret to getting ready every morning is to be ready for mornings before they begin!

Prepare for the morning, the night before
A lot of morning chores can be made less stressful if you plan for them in advance. Instead of having to frantically search for the clothes iron in the morning, you could set it up the night before. It is also a good idea to decide your clothes for the next day, and have them laid out on your bed the night before. The same applies to all things you wish to accomplish in the morning. Keep all your cereal boxes, jams, and peanut butter jars at convenient spots. So, in the morning, you can just breeze through the kitchen and prepare your breakfast with ease.

Adopt time-saving hacks
Instead of washing your hair in the morning, take a shower at night! This also gives your hair ample time to dry. The next morning, you can wake up, just wash your body and start styling your dry air right away. You can also buy night-setting hair serums which cut down your morning getting-ready time.

And when it comes to food, you can prepare your breakfast the night before and store it in the refrigerator. When you wake up, you can just microwave the plate, and voila! Your food will be hot in no time. This certainly does not apply to all foods and is not the healthiest of practices. But it works well if done with moderation and care.

Coordinate your schedule with your roommates and children
If you live with a roommate, then you may find your mornings delayed because of them. If you are living with children, having a proper routine for yourself can be one of the hardest things to do. Kids may throw tantrums, have fresh morning demands and these concerns may lead to frustration and subsequent delay.

Disciplining does not magically happen overnight. You need to make a schedule that accommodates the needs of all those in your house and has room for the random things that pop up unexpectedly. When your roommates and children stick to this routine, there will be order in your house. And where there is order, there is punctuality. Through punctuality, you can cut down your routine with ease!

Don’t compare yourself with others
Not everyone is a morning person. Some are night owls, while some are mid-day magicians. Each of us has our unique lifestyle, routine, and capabilities. Being disciplined is highly recommended for all, but don’t beat yourself to achieve it every morning. Make sure you get adequate sleep too. After all, good rest is also part of getting ready in the morning!

Here are some all-time style hacks that you want to know about.

Salman Khan: Ripped Jeans
You’re mistaken if you think wearing ripped jeans is a new trend. Remember the song Oh Oh Jane Jana…? Salman stole everyone’s heart with his shirtless and ripped jeans style. Salman has been working on the trend since the 90s. Here’s the thing about torn jeans: You won’t just differentiate yourself, you’ll also become the center of attraction.

Dimple Kapadia: Swimsuit
Booby’s iconic front-tying, midriff-baring top with polka dots that she pulled on for one scene was a turning point of Indian fashion. This trend will make you feel entirely different and gives the wearer the confidence of being all dolled up.

Madhuri Dixit: Backless Blouse
When Rajshri productions starred the evergreen Madhuri Dixit in ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun,’ she gave an impeccable style to the fashion industry with her backless blouse. This style soon becomes a trend, and everyone starts flaunting it. The film completed more than two successful decades & still, the iconic blouse style is on-trend. So wear a backless blouse and give yourself a complete 90’s Bollywood glam look, stating your type.

 Bhagyashree Patwardhan: Blue Skirt
‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ was a movie that set specific notable trends. If you remember, Bhagyashree’s blue skirt and a top with polka dots on it were a hit with young girls at that time. Salam khan’s leather jackets were also in demand after the release of the film. They even commissioned similar outfits with the initials of their name inscribed on them. College campuses at that time started resembling the sets of ‘Maine Pyar Kiya.’
The hits are hits; This style still works very well for going to college or hanging out with friends.

Kareena Kapoor: T-shirts with Patiala Salwar Pants
Wearing T-shirts with Patiala pants is the perfect blend of comfort and style. No one has ever made this look as cool as Kareena Kapoor did in ‘Jab We Met.’ For the longest time, many girls tried to embrace this combo as their fashion mantra. It’s the combo of comfort and confidence. No matter where you may be, dressing, after all, is a way to care for yourself.

Deepika Padukone: Color-blocking
Who doesn’t remember the ultra-glam of Veronica from the movie ‘Cocktail’ & its Daaru Desi’s song? Deepika perfectly encapsulates color-blocking in the song: brown shorts, olive green shirt, and the contrasting pink top and green hot pants. But Deepika doesn’t only win at that movie. She also emerges with outfits you’ve only dreamed of wearing contrasting blocks.

Vidhya Balan: Red Saree
Vidhya wears that red saree in Kasto Mazza He Relaima with a blouse covered in frills, and this time her style also makes her acting and fashion style stand out.
This look gives us major inspiration for the Durga Puja look. Wearing a red saree with a full-sleeved blouse or one with frills provides us with a feel of traveling back to the 60s.

Sridevi: Chiffon Saree
Sridevi will always be a fashion icon. How can we forget her stunning chiffon saree in the song  Mere Haathon Mein when she changes the definition of saree in dance. She certainly inspired many women across the country.

When we look deep into that look, the chiffon saree with a white ensemble complete with rose petals offers a glimpse into a style that every woman envies. Still wearing chiffon sarees can make you look all styled and different for the event you are going to.

Rani Mukerji: Bright Colors
Don’t be afraid to wear bright clothes, is what Rani Mukerji from ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ told us. She proves that wearing bright colors is no fault; the way she wears shimmery Patiala suits, with multi-colored thigh-length and collared Kurtas. In her one look, she even guides fashionistas to not be afraid of wearing polka-dotted Patiala Salwar with blue hoops paired with a bead ring to match and completing the look with a wrist-full of cool bangles look. But, of course, there is nothing wrong with wearing all bright. Often, it’s the best way to show your mood.

Landing a job is a matter of pride. The job interview plays a huge role in determining your acceptance. If two applicants have the same credentials, the one who aced the interview lands the job. Even in circumstances, where applicants of varying credentials apply, the job interview remains crucial as ever. It is oftentimes the first point of contact between the candidate and the company. Resumes and letters of recommendation have their say, but nothing speaks louder than your interview performance. To ace an interview, there are a bunch of things one must pay attention to.

Before the Interview
The Intent

Every interview is conducted with a specific purpose. Sometimes, they are to learn who you are as a person. Some interviews are conducted to test your knowledge and verify the details on your resume. Sometimes, interviews are formalities to discuss details concerning your job and see if you would be a good fit at the workplace. In most cases, an interview is a mix of them all. Knowing the intention of the interview ensures you are prepped accordingly. If the interviewer has not disclosed the nature of the interview, it is best to be prepared for all possible options.

The Questions
There are some generic questions that are asked in all interviews. These include but are not restricted to questions about introducing yourself, your past experiences, your opinions on the latest development in the field, your past projects, and your interest to work at that particular place. It is highly advisable to be ready with these questions beforehand. One need not memorize a script for the interview but can always be prepared for these to come.

The Company
Applicants are expected to research a little about the company they are applying to and explain their interest in the company in focus. We all have our reasons to work with a company. It may be due to the impact of their projects, their range of clientele, or their great work culture. Oftentimes, it is just for the pay. However, stating the salary as the motivation to apply is frowned upon.

Getting Ready
Dressing up for an interview is important. First impressions are hard to change. Your dressing style is often the first thing a person notices about you. For an interview, one need not wear expensive, or clothes of big labels. The clothes must be clean, washed, and neatly ironed. It is also suggested to stick to clothes in soft and solid colors. Clothes with bright eye-catching patterns may distract the interviewer. Even if the interview is being conducted virtually, dressing up will ensure you enter the mental zone of professionalism.

Reaching the Interview Venue
Being punctual for interviews is of the utmost importance. And when it comes to interviews, you should arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time. There are times when elevators may fail, or you may have trouble locating the interview venue. Such incidents might add to your nervousness and cause unexpected delays.
Carry all your documents for the interview and copies of your resume as well. Though a lot of things in the world are turning increasingly digital, a lot of places still prefer printed resumes.

During the interview
The way you behave during your interview is key. Pay keen attention to your interviewer’s questions and never interrupt them. If you are asked a tricky question, do take a minute or two before answering. An interview is a time for you to shine. Use the spotlight to talk about your achievements and experiences. Having pride over one’s work is often a desired personality attribute. By doing so, you will certainly ace your interview and land the job!

Often, we confuse being busy with being productive. Just because you spent your entire day doing one thing or the other doesn’t imply you did something meaningful. Being productive is not about frantically pacing from a task to another aimlessly; it’s about staying focused and working consciously.

If you are just busy all the time, you might not achieve your goals. To accomplish your aims, you must turn yourself into a productive person. With absent productivity, you will find yourself flailing about every day without reaching anywhere.

Here are a few tips you can follow to break up with the busy and be productive instead.

Have a mission
The key to being productive is planning. Take time to introspect on your objectives and plan accordingly. Don’t go around frantically completing one task after another. Have a roadmap in your head, make an action plan.

Don’t set unrealistically high goals that you can’t achieve. Productive people are clear on what their destination is. They move accordingly and adjust as and when needed. On the other hand, busy people go around doing the first thing they can get their hands on without any objective.

Know what’s important
Every task that comes across to you might not be worth your time. Learn to delegate. For example, suppose you are a shop owner, you shouldn’t have your shop closed for 5 hours to do a petty task when you can pay someone else to do it. It is crucial to prioritize important work and say no to unimportant tasks that do not matter.

Work smart
There is no equivalence between working smarter and working harder. While everyone may have their definition of working smart and hard, productive people work smartly by investing just the right amount of effort in everything they do.

This means that they are not putting unnecessary amounts of time into something to pursue unattainable perfectionism. Instead, they devote their time to personal wellbeing and try to achieve a work-life balance.

Follow a schedule
Have a clear mind and make a timetable consisting of all the essential chores of the day and stick to it. Having a pre-thought schedule will ensure that you don’t get lost midway through the day and get off track.

It will help you oversee your progress and engage in better quality work. One should note that rest is as essential as work. Working for long hours on a stretch without taking breaks can lead to burnout which would defeat productivity.

Focus > Multitasking
“Jack of all trades, master of none”, this saying applies to busy people. They put more on their plate than they can handle. They are proud of multitasking, but in reality, they are compromising the quality of their work.

Contrarily, productive people only agree to tasks that they can handle and work on them with focus. It helps them reduce distractions and deliver better results. A productive person achieves way more than a busy person by being more self-aware.

They know their potential and use it for the highest results. Instead of talking, they work, and instead of being fueled by perfectionism, they are fueled by purpose. Their attitude makes them stand out from the crowd.

They don’t rush through things; rather, they give every task their 100% focus and engage in ‘deep work.’ Instead of agreeing to do just anything, they employ their resources wisely and delegate shallow tasks. All these things yield exceptional results for them.

Successful are those who know their priorities. Get on your way to success by choosing to be productive and not just busy.

Achieving a work-life balance is a must. Today, more than ever, employees are overburdened with numerous conflicting obligations, including job responsibilities, child-rearing, housekeeping, volunteering, and old parent care, etc. Individuals, families, and relations all suffer as a result of an imbalance between these responsibilities. This creates the need for a balanced life.

The COVID-19 pandemic has added to the work-life dilemma. With more and more people working from their homes, the line between work and personal life has been blurring down to the extent that it’s almost invisible now.

The term ‘office hours’ is losing its relevance as individuals are being made to work 24×7 under the disguise of ‘work from home. Your personal and professional life are two different spheres; although somehow related, no one sphere should overshadow the other. Both demand attention and commitment, but not at the expense of one another.

Having a work balance is imperative for your mental health; it helps you cope better with stress. It improves your productivity level, lets you be fully present in the moment, and nudges you into a healthier life.

The benefits of work-life balance are undoubtedly many. But it isn’t an easy task to attain this balance. Work-life balance means different things for different people, but here are a few tips that almost anyone can use to achieve a more balanced life.

Bring changes in the way you work
When working, we tend to forget about our well-being. We work for long hours without giving ourselves a break resulting in overwhelmedness. This has to change. Taking breaks is a necessity.

Take out time using short recesses to relieve stress. Use the Pomodoro technique, i.e., have short focused work sessions followed by breaks. This will help increase concentration and reduce fatigue.

Also, make sure your work doesn’t interfere with basic activities like having lunch. Demarcate your work from your ‘me-time’.

Have a timetable
Work-life balance is disrupted when your professional life starts taking over your personal life. This typically happens when you have not demarcated your work from your ‘me-time’. You let your work aspect come in the way of your pleasures.

Having a timetable that limits the time you devote to work every day can help you resolve this problem. It will make sure you keep track of your duties for the day and help you not overburden yourself.

Reward yourself
Another reason people cannot have a work-life balance is that they constantly push their limits without acknowledging their hard work. When you start recognizing your efforts, you feel more satisfied and content with your work. As a result, you don’t impose excessive strain on yourself related to work. Don’t rely on your employer to boost your morale, do it yourself.

Try meditation
Often, we find ourselves struggling to attain a balanced life because our mind is not calm and is overthinking about a lot of things. In situations such as this, we find it difficult to focus on anything further, leading to anxiety and stress.

Meditation brings your mind to peace while building self-awareness. It also lengthens your attention span and makes you feel relaxed and calm. All of this can help you focus on your work-life better while automatically enhancing your personal life – a big step in achieving a work-life balance.

Conclusion
In the everyday hustle, we tend to forget the importance of work-life balance. Take a moment and introspect – do you have a work-life balance? Or you are also a part of the crowd that’s mindlessly working without giving due importance to personal wellbeing.

If the latter is your answer, you need to rethink your choices and take up steps to achieve the balance. Do this for a healthier lifestyle and finally get that satisfaction we are all looking for.

Office parties or workplace-related events are a great way to improve social bonding amongst employees and reduce stress. Unfortunately, the same events that promise to be fun and frolic, sometimes, tend to be notorious for inappropriate behavior of the guests or certain unwanted incidents.

From special day celebrations to year-end bashes, companies may expect their employees to attend parties organized at or by the office. Everyone can enjoy these as long as some rules of decorum are observed.

It is easy to get into trouble but wise to tread carefully and avoid any gray areas when it comes to dressing for office parties, interacting with other employees and seniors, or consuming drinks. These useful tips for a company office party will ensure you have fun responsibly.

Following the dress code
While some office parties take place at the office itself, some are held at other venues. Always check that you are dressed for the occasion and according to the venue. While you have some way to dress up in case you are going to a banquet hall or a garden party, conservative options are a safer choice inside the office space.
Also, confirm beforehand whether the party will be held indoors or outdoors and dress according to the weather.

Bringing family or friends
Unless specified in the invite, bringing a family member or a friend along with you to an office party is certainly not advised. In case the occasion specifically demands the presence of friends and family or if you have been asked to bring somebody along, you may; but check the same in advance and ensure that your spouse or friends are following the dress code as well.

Arriving on time
It is impolite to reach the party too late or directly when dinner is being served, for instance. Be punctual. Arrive on time and not very early either. It is better to have your commuting plans laid out in advance.
Whether you go alone or in a group, check for available parking space or company transportation in case any is being provided.

Eating and drinking
These are the principal activities of any event or party, but inappropriate behavior often follows eating or drinking too much. Many employees have been fired due to things said or done after over-indulging. Remember that a company party is not an occasion to eat all you can or indulge in drinking games and bets with your friends. These must be reserved for your private time, away from the workplace and colleagues.
It is best to eat and drink in moderation or stick to soft beverages at a company party, so you do not end up embarrassing yourself.

Social interactions
Office parties are perfect for some interaction amongst colleagues and seniors but only as long as the interactions are within the limits of appropriate behavior. Otherwise, the HR and legal departments are bound to have a busy week after the event.

While interacting with other guests at the party, maintain a respectable distance. You may shake hands but hugging or kissing others, even if they are your best friends, must be strictly avoided, as this is a formal setting.
Avoid gossip. An office party is not the place to discuss anybody’s personal lives, interpersonal relations, quarterly performance, or leadership skills. Also, do not broach topics that can make people uncomfortable – pay attention to those around you and act accordingly.

Conclusion
Be remembered for your professional and amicable behavior and not for inappropriate remarks, inappropriate jokes, or cringe-worthy dancing. Enjoy responsibly so that you can make the most of your company celebration.

Only savvy fliers understand the importance of choosing chic apparel while flying. To make your flight journeys comfortable, you shouldn’t leave your clothes as last-minute choices. It’s vital to know what to wear on long-hour flight journeys that make your trip comfy.

That’s why here we’ve come up with various ideas that will keep you looking stylish without affecting comfort standards.

What To Wear for Women
Jacket

Classic and royal color jackets make you look chic. Moreover, it helps you protect yourself from chilling temperatures. It’s better to wear a cotton or light material jacket if the weather’s hot. Or else, opt for wool or thick material jackets.

Pullover Or Long Scarf Or Cardigan
If you’re on a long flight journey, it’s challenging to predict the temperature conditions in your cabin. Sometimes, suddenly the temperature might drop. So, it’s always better to carry either a long scarf, pullover, or cardigan while traveling. Moreover, wearing scarves make you look chic and smarter.

T-shirt/Top And A Cropped Pant
Tops give you a calm and chill look. A T-shirt and cropped pants are a mesmerizing combo to travel in style. If you’re wearing heavy long tops, make sure to wear t-shirts or blouses underneath.

Say No To Heels
Heels aren’t a good choice for flight journeys. It’s better to wear shoes or flats as they make you more comfortable. If you wear heels, it’ll be harder and less comfortable to walk throughout the airport or all the way to your hotel.

Choose Light Colors
Don’t be tempted to wear black, navy blue, or charcoal color apparel. Light colors like cream, gold, lemon yellow, pale pink, etc., give an elegant look and positive vibes. Most savvy fliers say not to wear dark colors as they draw unnecessary attention from the public.

Say No To Skinny Jeans
If you’re on a long flight, then skinny jeans are not recommended, especially if the climate is hot. Moreover, sitting for hours and hours in tight jeans makes you uncomfortable and contributes to poor blood circulation. Instead, wear jeggings or loose jeans for enhanced blood circulation and comfort.

Avoid Tote Bags
Tote bags are usually unzipped wide bags with open tops. Carrying these kinds of loads on tourist places or flights increases the risk of theft. It’s more like welcoming the pickpockets to steal your essentials, so try to refrain from taking your new tote bag on vacation.

Say No To Heavy & Expensive Jewelry.
Avoid wearing expensive jewelry while flying. This brings unwanted attention, especially in tourist places. It’s best to wear lightweight jewelry like earrings and bracelets on long-haul flight journeys. It’s even better to avoid necklaces and other heavy jewelry.

These are the few things to consider to look chic and fly in style for women. What about men? What should they’ve to wear for comfy travel? You’ll discover them in later sections. Keep reading.

What To Wear for Men
Wear Blazer

It’s no surprise to say that blazers are an excellent way to upgrade yourself. A man with a blazer attracts many. So, wearing a wrinkle-free, cool-colored blazer is the best apparel to wear in airports.

Jacket With T-Shirt
When a jacket is worn with a t-shirt, it instantly gives you a carefree but elegant look. T-shirts are seamlessly comfortable and convenient, which will make you more comfortable on your journey. It’s also recommended to carry pullovers that make you comfy in cold flight cabins.

Footwear
Choose footwear that is easy to walk on the airport floor and plane. It’s always better to choose shoes or sandals than usual slippers or uncomfortable dress shoes.

Do you have a busy schedule with no time for hobbies or leisure? Are you in front of a screen for a long time each day? Is it difficult for you to focus on your tasks or to do them properly with a low margin for error?

If you answered in the affirmative to any of these questions, you are probably stressed. You probably have multiple thoughts running through your mind every hour of the day. With all your daily responsibilities, neither your mind nor your body is at peace.

But if you cannot take a break from work or make time for exercise and entertainment, what is it that can help calm your mind quickly and give you a boost of energy to get through your day?
The answer lies in meditation. Meditation is a powerful tool that helps relax not only the mind but the body as well.

Many people think meditation is a complex process that takes a long time to learn and practice. Although there are different levels in meditation that provide increasingly more benefits as you become more rehearsed in the practice, meditation has various techniques, and anyone can do it.

Specific simple meditation techniques do not require you to go far from home or look for any teacher. You can easily do these at home yourself.

Keep a dedicated time for meditation
The first step to meditating at home is to dedicate a fixed time for the activity. Meditating at any time of the day certainly has benefits, but it will help you even more if you can do it consistently at the same time. With a busy routine, making time for exercise or meditation is often the last priority for many.

But spending some time of the day for your own mental, physical and emotional well-being is extremely important.

Breathe deeply
As simple as this sounds, we hardly ever do it unless we attend a physical fitness class with an instructor. In our daily life, we do not have enough time to focus on our breath. We only ever take short, quick breaths. This may not deliver enough oxygen to all areas of our body, making us feel tired or stressed.

Meditating at home can be done by inhaling and exhaling slowly, sitting in a relaxed position (on a Yoga mat or in a chair) and keeping the eyes closed. Our minds are trained to think, act and react constantly. Hence, it may seem a little tricky at first to solely focus on breathing and tune out other thoughts. But consistency and practice can help you meditate better and the benefits of this practice can be noticed quickly.

Once you are habituated to the deep breathing technique, you can inhale, hold your breath for a few seconds and then exhale. Deep inhalation, holding of breath, and deep exhalation are key to feeling relaxed. This technique will provide more oxygen to your lungs and brain, helping you feel more energetic. While you are doing these breathing exercises, visualize your breath leaving your body and exhale all the toxins inside.

Listen to soothing music
Music is powerful and can make us feel agitated, sad, happy or relaxed, depending on what we listen to. If you can listen to soothing music once or twice a day; or even while you are doing the deep breathing exercises, it can lower your heart rate.

Instrumental music, for instance, is helpful as the mind will not stray, trying to focus on any lyrics. This will ensure that you concentrate on your breathing and feel relaxed.

Conclusion

For the past years, numerous people have been trying to follow the idea of work-life balance. However, the whole phrase “work-life balance” is a misconception in itself. Many people think that their lives are unbalanced, and the issue of how to conquer this is not a one-solution-fits-all type of ordeal.

Below we will talk about the biggest work-life balance myths which have been destroying productivity, causing employees to waste excessive time at the workplace, and the things contributing to their lack of happiness across all aspects of their lives.

More working hours lead to increased productivity
Here is a popular belief, which indicates that working 11 or 12 hours every day gives enhanced production and efficiency. But, this idea is completely outdated. Sometimes, you may need to work extra hours to meet the deadline, but it is not essential to work 11 to 12 hours daily.

If you still believe that working more hours increases productivity, try performing a personal time audit on your day-to-day output. See where your time goes and start making changes to those tasks that waste time. Understanding where your time goes is the first step to higher productivity and will help you better manage your time to create that perfect work-life balance.

Categorizing your time
Many people believe that classifying their everyday time will result in creating a work-life balance. But, it is a myth and has no truth to it. There is an old belief which says that you should spend 8 hours on work, sleep, leisure and social activities. Do you really think that this will work?

Also, sometimes you may need to spend more time working when you are dealing with a big project. Due to that, it is practically impossible to follow a fixed hourly schedule. Rather than compartmentalizing the time, it is best to dedicate particular hours to your workplace and life.

Following a coworker or team manager
Not all workers are the same, so there is no point in trying to follow your coworker’s work-life attitude. Many team managers have their own work-life imbalances themselves.  It is not suggested to take your company’s higher-ups as role models just because they have a higher working position doesn’t mean they know how to manage their time.

All workers want balance
False! Not every employee seems to want a balance because some of them understand that work-life balance is a myth that does not exist. Some people actually prefer working to having a social life while others would rather be at home with their family. All of us are different and the past year has shown that. Some employees prefer working from home, others prefer the office and some like in between. There is no right answer.

Employees who take the time to discover what makes them happy in life and create time to do those things are the epitome of the new work-life balance culture. The concept that we can equally divide up our day is a myth as every day will bring on new challenges or issues that need to be dealt with. Learning how to calmly deal with the tasks that pop up unexpectedly while being able to move your schedule around to accommodate them – is the new balance.

Our Verdict
Attaining a work-life balance does not imply that you have to maintain a fixed schedule, it is actually quite the opposite.  Having a schedule that can adapt to the tasks life throws at us is the new way to find satisfaction in both your work life and home life.
